Right Edge Art Studio is situated in Lyttelton, Centurion and has been helping absolute beginners to find and develop their creative talent and build confidence since 2011.

Right Edge Art teaches adults and children from grade 4 to grade 12.

All art classes at right Edge Art are focused on and tailored to the specific needs of beginner artists who are fearful to even try but feel the call to create.

Right Edge Art gives you a safe space to learn, develop your artistic skills at your own pace without pressure, build confidence and relax in the process.

In-person studio classes:

On Saturday mornings  there is a fun creative class for adults who just want to escape the rat race and relax in a creative way for a short while.

Following this class on Saturday mornings, there is a foundational art class for primary school students in grades 4 to 7.

On Monday evenings, there is a foundational art class for high school students in grades 8 to 12.

Right Edge Art’s in-person classes at the studio are small, relaxed, inspirational and supportive.

 All in-person art classes are in English and Afrikaans.

In-person crash courses at the studio on Wednesday evenings in blocks of 6 to 12 lessons covering

Foundational drawing techniques

Foundational portrait and figure drawing techniques

Foundational colour shading techniques

Foundational watercolour techniques

Foundational acrylic painting techniques.

Video lessons in the same style as the in-person crash courses

to reach students who cannot attend in-person classes at the studio or just want to learn in the comfort of their homes.

These video lessons will be available on the Right Edge Art YouTube channel with access restricted  to paying students.
